( Outside of his burrow, Natsume will find a golden box with a red ribbon and box wrapped neatly around the outside.
Inside, there's an assortment of treats from baked goods to candies to cute little knick knacks Hawks may or may not have found and cleaned up around Folkmore. It's all arranged neatly in various colored plastics and tiny containers.
There's a small white card that has a badly doodled little hawk holding a heart on it, and only it's wings are colored red. And the only words on it are a simple: Thanks, Kitty-san)
(For the first time in his life, he didn't want to think too much about his brother. He was preoccupied by the thought of consuming Natsume whole in any way he could manage right now.)
I always want everything with you.
(He's already heading back home.)
I would be happy to have you defile me every day for the rest of my life.
(In any way. It doesn't take long before he's politely knocking at the front door. Which is his way of being cheeky: he knows he doesn't need to knock.)
[Natsume reads the message a couple times, blushing happily, then carefully putting his Relic away. He actually tries to fix his hair in the mirror for a moment, before huffing at his silliness.
When the knock comes, he opens the door without thinking, then stares in wonder for a moment. The outfit is better in person.
Then it hits him:] Choso, did you...walk over like this? A-Aren't you cold?
(Choso smiles down at Natsume, thrilled as always to see his boyfriend. He blinks at the question and then looks down at himself.)
Yes. (He didn't think it would be too practical to take it off or put anything over it...! Right? Ahh...Was he? He tips his head to the side and shrugs.)
Not especially.
(He raises a hand and settles it against Natsume's cheek. His hand was definitely cold.)
[This is truly a dilemma, as for a moment Natsume's fretful nature and his horniness war for control. The former wins out for the moment, and he nuzzles his cheek against Choso's chilly hand, nodding in concern.]
A bit, yes -- come inside, where it's warm. [His tail coils around his boyfriend’s wrist, tugging gently, and Natsume is already reaching for a blanket, genuine worry in his eyes.] I should've been more thoughtful, I should've come to you instead, I'm so sorry, come sit...
[It's mid-afternoon when the message comes, and Natsume is on a walk. He takes them less, now that he has somewhere he feels safe, but he still likes to get out and wander around. No more apple-picking, but he'll sometimes pick mushrooms or nuts or something -- only enough for one or two servings. He's learned his lesson.
The message is sweet, a little surprising, but mostly it just makes him smile, happiness blooming in his chest. He admires so much how Junpei can be so honest, how eloquent he is.
So:] I love you too. Are you okay? [Sometimes the deep thoughts are brought on by sad musing or nightmares, and he likes to make sure.]
